Burak started his music education at the age of 11, taking violin lessons. In 2004, he started his undergraduate program in Music Teaching at Karadeniz Technical University Fatih Faculty of Education. In 2006, he started to work as a violinist in Trabzon Municipality Chamber Orchestra ensemble, which was established for the first time in Trabzon. During this time period, he participated in many concerts as a member of the orchestra. He studied at Eszterházy Karoly Föiskola in Eger, Hungary, with the Erasmus Scholarship he won in 2007. During this time, he took part in concerts by both the school orchestra and the Eger Symphony Orchestra. He completed his Bachelor degree in 2008. In 2008-2010, he worked as music teacher in Istanbul. For a short time, he took violin lessons from Esen Kıvrak. In 2010, he took violin lessons from Georgs Sarkisjans in Düsseldorf, Germany. He also worked as violin teacher at the "Mosaik Kunst-und Kulturhaus" in Cologne. In 2015, he completed Haliç University's Master's Program with Master Thesis. Here, he took advanced performance courses in violin from Prof. Dr. Saim Akçıl. Under the guidance of Dr. Aslı Gidergi, he wrote his master's thesis titled "The Contributions of Carl Flesch's Scale System Method to Violin Technique and The Study of Technical Methods Developing in Parallel". He completed his PhD program in Music and Performing Arts at Yildiz Technical University in 2020 with a doctoral thesis titled "Musical iconography of violin through folkloric performance practices and traditional music repertoires: Folkloric identities attributed to violin in 20th century music" written under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hakkı Alper Maral. He is currently working as a Violin Teacher at Çankırı Fine Arts High School and making music with his chamber music group "Tree Trio".
