Jantje Röller achieved her doctorate through the Viadrina European University’s “Representation, Rhetoric, and Knowledge” (Repräsentation - Rhetorik - Wissen) program, focusing on Heinrich von Kleist. She is committed to the cross-discipline negotiation of complex interrelated networks: alongside her doctorate, she staged (among others) Deleuze & Guatarri’s A Thousand Plateaus at the Volksbühne in Berlin. A Communications specialist, Dr. Röller directs the campaign for Germany’s Equal Pay Day and, at Working Moms, shapes practical implementations of political communication in order to show that women naturally can have both – children and career. As a lecturer at the Macromedia Hochschule, she values constructive exchange with her students.
