Biografie

Louise Lau is a classically trained violinist and music business professional whose lifelong passion in music has kept her busy outside of her professional work as a marketer.

Originally from Taiwan, Louise grew up playing the violin and piano. When she immigrated to the US with her family, she struggled to learn English and adjust to the new culture. It wasn’t until she joined the local youth orchestra, where the common language was music, that she found her confidence again.

Louise went on to obtain degrees in violin performance and music business. She remains an active performer as a violinist of the String Orchestra of Brooklyn and frequently collaborates with her musician friends on musical projects. She is the founder of Offstage Tunes, a platform dedicated to promoting musicians and their behind-the-scenes stories.
