We are glad to introduce to you Matteo Marciano, Music Technology Ambassador here at Music Traveler. With him we will explore the amazing world of Music Technology: from improving your room studio to mixing a Hollywood movie.
Matteo Marciano is a Multi-Platinum record producer, mixer, engineer, educator and an AVID Pro Tools Instructor with over a decade of experience in the music entertainment industry.
His work can be heard in movies, television shows and albums including the triple platinum single “Cups” with Anna Kendrick. Other credits include work for artists such as Idina Menzel, Lang Lang, 2Cellos, Chetty, Jacopo Volpe, Zosia Mamet, Brian Justin Crum, Astral Weeks, and films such as Pitch Perfect, John Wick, Despicable Me 2, Turbo, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Duff, Horrible Bosses, and many others. Matteo Marciano has had responsibilities in the creation and improvement of academic programs focussed on Music Production, AudioEngineering and Recording in the US and in Italy. Currently at New York University Abu Dhabi holds the position of Assistant Head of the Music Program and Professor of Practice Music Technology. With his immense passion for music, Matteo is dedicated to bringing all his experience and Music Technology knowledge to his classes, helping his students to achieve their education and career goals for a brilliant future in the Entertainment Industry and other fields. In addition, to maintain an intense international career as a mixer engineer, producer, editor, he keeps working for music publishing companies, TV shows, feature films, commercials and artists from all over the world.
